To make the connection more direct, the sensor shield has brought out all IO pins at the edge of the micro:bit main board to a 3-pin interface. These provide a simple way to connect circuits using jumper wires. Label G stands for GND, V is VCC (3.0-3V), and S is the signal pin corresponding to the IO pins of the micro:bit main board. There are three types of connection methods: connect the gold rings on the shield to sensor modules using alligator clip leads, connect the sensor modules to the pin headers on the shield using jumper wires, and connect the green terminal blocks on the shield with wire leads. There are four types of power supply methods for the shield and the micro:bit main board, including directly connecting the battery holder to the micro:bit main board for power supply.
