Double protection against external interference (SF/UTP). The CAT6 network cable from TRU Components is multiple shielded. The entire cable is wrapped in a dense wire mesh and covered with a metal foil. This high-quality shielding protects against external interference such as parallel power cables and ensures reliable data transmission even under adverse conditions.

Data transmission using CCA (Aluminum). CCA refers to bi-metallic single and multi-core cables with a copper-plated aluminum core for high-frequency applications. The skin effect, also known as current displacement, is a physical phenomenon caused by high-frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor decreases with increasing frequency compared to the outer surface. The inner cross-sectional area of a conductor carrying high-frequency alternating current practically has no transmission function. The CCA network cable thus represents a truly cost-effective and weight-reduced alternative to conventional solid copper cables while maintaining equivalent performance and transmission characteristics.
