With the Dust Detector Bricklet, bricks can measure dust density. The measured dust density can be read out in g/m. With configurable events, it is possible to react to changes in dust density without continuously polling the values (no polling necessary).

Typical applications include the measurement of cigarette smoke, smog, house dust, pollen, etc.
