Tinkerforge Distance IR 4 30cm Bricklet 2.0
Product details
This Bricklet is mounted on the back of analog Sharp infrared distance sensors. Once the connected sensor is configured, the measured distances can be read directly in millimeters. With configurable events, it is possible to respond to changed distance measurements without continuously polling the values. Typically, these sensors are used in robotics to measure distances, for localization, or for mapping. However, they can also be used for many other applications. For example, these sensors can be used like a light barrier to control access to a room. The Distance IR Bricklet 2.0 has a 7-pin Bricklet connector and is connected to a Brick using a 7p-10p Bricklet cable.
