Legendary sound – effortlessly. The Ultima 40 Active 3 combines modern design with the functionality of active speakers.

In the new Ultima series, we have incorporated over 40 years of experience in speaker development. It represents an exceptionally good price-to-sound ratio like no other speaker. With high-end technologies, it delivers a perfectly balanced sound, always featuring the characteristic strong Teufel bass. A unique feature of the Ultima is its ability to perform powerfully even with quiet background music. This allows you to experience music, games, and movie sound as they should be, regardless of the volume.

Developed in Berlin. The current Ultima series Mk4 was created in our labs and reflection-free rooms. We have carefully adjusted and refined the design – it is now more timeless and modern than ever. Extensive customer feedback was incorporated into the development.

Tangible quality. The now very minimalist front features more subtle cutouts for the covers. The covers themselves have a more elegant design and reflect the materiality of high-quality textiles, making them fit much better in any living room.

Phase plug. The centrally positioned phase plug in the midrange driver is a special feature of the Ultima series. It optimally distributes sound and ensures the best possible speech intelligibility. Listen with the whole family and understand everything, even if you have to sit a bit further to the left or right.

More ways, more to hear. At Teufel, it is important for us to continually improve our products, which also includes producing them in a more environmentally friendly way. That’s why we are using FSC®-certified wood for the entire body in the new Ultima series for the first time. Additionally, the packaging is made entirely from recycled cardboard and avoids plastics.
