The latest addition to the BLE sensors expands the range of applications covered: monitoring the state of opening/closing doors, hoods, or similar objects. In combination with the sensor, an additional magnet is required. The sensor can send information when the magnet is attached or removed. Bluetooth magnetic sensors are small signal transmitters with configurable signal strength and data transmission intervals. The sensor utilizes advanced Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology to receive data from a long distance and can operate on a battery for up to 5 years.
