For example, using Cat.7 raw cables, the transmission characteristics of a Class E link according to ISO/IEC Edition 2 are met with a significant margin and are certified. Additionally, all patch cables feature a latch lever protection and are particularly robust and protected due to an overmolded boot.

For Gigabit Ethernet applications, ISO/IEC 11801 Edition 2 sets higher requirements for Category 5 components (Cat.5e). The Cat.5e patch cables already meet these requirements for establishing a Class D transmission link, thus providing the foundation for future-proof network cabling.

Telegärtner also offers a wide range of patch cables in various categories, colors, and lengths for use in switch cabinets and protected environments with an IP20 protection class. For instance, using Cat.7 raw cables, the transmission characteristics of a Class E link according to ISO/IEC 11801:2002 and ISO/IEC 24702:2006 are met with a significant margin and are certified. They fulfill the requirements for transmitting 10 Gigabit Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3an. Furthermore, all patch cables feature a latch lever protection and are particularly robust and protected due to an overmolded, colored boot.
