This cable is used to connect the router to a computer or TV box.

UTP cables consist of a plastic sheath that contains unshielded twisted pairs of wires. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter and are easy to handle and install. They are the most widely used cables for Ethernet LANs worldwide.

Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that arises from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies of up to 500 MHz and distances of up to 100 meters, and they are backward compatible with existing categories.
