This SATA to USB cable is an adapter for external drives that allows you quick and easy access to a SATA drive via the USB-A port on a USB 3.1 desktop or laptop (10 Gbps). The USB 3.1 to SATA adapter offers higher bandwidth and speed with a transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps. This is twice as fast as USB 3.0 and 20 times faster than USB 2.0. You can take advantage of the performance of the latest SSD and HDD systems while alleviating bottlenecks in your data transfers. Additionally, you can experience transfer speeds up to 70% faster than with conventional USB 3.1 devices when connected to a computer that supports UASP.
