Flat serial, native RS232 PCI Express with 1 port and 16550 UART. The serial PCI Express card PEX1S553LP converts a PCI Express slot into an RS232 interface (DB9). The serial card is based on a native single-chip design that utilizes the full capacity of PCI Express (PCIe) and reduces the load on the CPU by up to 48% compared to conventional serial cards. A high-speed serial RS232 port with a data transfer rate of up to 460.8 kbit/s is provided with a half-height/low-profile mounting bracket, including a standard bracket.
