StarTech 1 port PCIe 4 speed 5GBASE-T/NBASE T Ethernet network card
PCI Express 2.0 x4Only 1 item in stock at supplier
Product details
Add an Ethernet port to a computer, server, or workstation that supports four network speeds: 5G/2.5G/1G/100Mbps.
This NBASE-T™ PCIe network card with four speeds offers a cost-effective network upgrade. It allows you to access your network at varying speeds of up to 5G using your existing Cat5e copper cabling.
Cost-effective multi-gigabit Ethernet.
The PCIe network card fully complies with the 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, and NBASE-T specifications (Draft IEEE802.3bz) and provides a cost-effective and versatile networking solution. The network card offers additional bandwidth with multiple speeds to meet your network's requirements without needing to overhaul your existing cabling infrastructure.
Advanced technology for optimal performance.
NBASE-T technology and multi-gigabit speeds support Cisco® campus switches, including Catalyst 4500E, 3850, and 3560-CX. The Marvell® 88E2010 chipset has been optimized to achieve transmission rates of 2.5 and 5G over your existing Cat5e copper cabling without the need to upgrade to the more expensive Cat6A cabling required for speeds of 10 Gbps.
Operational efficiency and flexible use.
The Tehuti Networks™ TN4010 chipset ensures maximum operational efficiency with lower power consumption in compliance with IEEE 802.3az. The network card also supports 9K jumbo frames, 802.1q VLAN tagging, and is backward compatible with 1000BASE-T. For greater flexibility, it features a standard bracket on the interface card, which also includes a low-profile bracket for installation in small form factor computers.
