Product details
MIDI shield for all Arduino - control synthesizers, sequencers, and other music devices. The MIDI signals are sent and received via the UART ports of the Arduino.
The shield features a MIDI-IN and a MIDI-OUT port. The potentiometers are connected to analog pins 1 and 2, allowing control of parameters such as volume or pitch. There are also 3 pushbuttons, a reset button, and 2 status LEDs.
This is a kit that requires soldering. All SMD components are pre-soldered; only the through-hole components need to be soldered.
We provide 2 pairs of stackable headers for the SparkFun MIDI shield for free, which are not included in the original package.
