This small breakout board connects an electret microphone with a 100-fold operational amplifier to amplify sounds such as voices, door knocks, etc., to a level that can be recorded by a microcontroller's analog-to-digital converter. The device is delivered fully assembled as shown. It operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V.
