Product details
The SparkFun BME280 Atmospheric Sensor Breakout with headers is a simple way to measure air pressure, humidity, and temperature without taking up too much space. Essentially, you can find out everything you need to know about atmospheric conditions with this tiny breakout. The BME280 breakout is designed for use in indoor and outdoor navigation, weather forecasting, home automation, and even for monitoring personal health and well-being.
The integrated BME280 sensor measures atmospheric pressure from 30 kPa to 110 kPa, as well as relative humidity and temperature. The breakout features a 3.3V SPI interface and a 5V-tolerant I2C interface (with pull-up resistors to 3.3V), takes measurements with less than 1 mA, and has a sleep current of less than 5 µA. The BME280 breakout board has 10 pins, but no more than six are used at the same time. The left side of the board provides power, ground, and I2C pins. The remaining pins, which offer SPI functionality and additional power and ground, are located on the other side.
Note: This version of the BME280 comes with pre-soldered headers.
