Product details
With the Era 300, you can enjoy a unique sound experience where sound comes from every direction and you are right in the middle of the action. Connect it to all your content and devices via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5 mm input. Connect two devices to the Arc or Beam (Gen. 2) and experience immersive Dolby Atmos. Before playback, the speaker must be set up via Wi-Fi with the Sonos app. An AUX cable and the Sonos input adapter are required for the input (both sold separately). Sonos products can be connected via WLAN. Stream Dolby Atmos over Wi-Fi with a compatible service and supported content. Experience Dolby Atmos home cinema content with a compatible TV and an HDMI eARC or HDMI ARC connection.

Many wireless speakers promise stereo sound, even with just one speaker. Regardless of whether they are wireless speakers or Bluetooth speakers - the solo speakers contain speakers for the left and right channels. But with just one speaker, the stereo base remains narrow: the distance between the left and right speakers within a speaker is simply too small...

- Compact dimensions
- Wide range of music (playback)
- room-filling sound
- Somewhat few interfaces (no LAN connection) and supported audio formats
No question: the Sonos Era 300 delivers a great sound experience when playing Dolby Atmos music, especially in smaller rooms. However, it is not a fully-fledged sound system for your flat-screen TV at home.

The Sonos Era 300 are excellent smart speakers with clear weaknesses when used on a notebook or PC. They score with excellent audio quality and good app support. The set-up worked flawlessly and quickly with the Sonos app. The use was flawless via App and TV, via Airplay 2 and a MacBook Pro 14 there were always small problems...
- Good sound with Dolby Atmos tracks
- Bluetooth
- Improved user interface
- Room calibration Sonos Trueplay now also with Android
- Quite expensive (especially as rear speakers)
- USB-C interface only usable with adapter
