Sometimes, the Wi-Fi at home is simply not stable. Sometimes too many devices compete for bandwidth, bringing the entire network to a halt. And sometimes, it’s just difficult to transmit the signal to distant rooms. If any of these Wi-Fi issues sound familiar, the Boost can help you stream music flawlessly through your Sonos system. The Boost creates a separate network just for Sonos, allowing you to enjoy music without interruptions throughout your home. With this separate network, the Boost eliminates interference from other devices connected to your Wi-Fi. The Boost features three internal antennas that transmit in all directions—even through walls and ceilings. This ensures that music reaches every room in your home, no matter how far apart they are. Simply plug it into a power source. Connect it to your router using the included Ethernet cable. Set everything up via the Sonos app. Done. You don’t necessarily need a Boost for your Sonos system, but it’s good to know it’s there if you need it.
