Easy telephony
The Gigaset Desk 400 corded phone makes it easy to make and receive calls. Four direct-dial buttons and ten speed-dial buttons provide a simple way to connect with the people who matter to you. The phone offers three melodies and volume levels to alert you to incoming calls, along with the ability to turn off the ringer when you want to be quiet. The handset volume can be adjusted in two steps. The Gigaset Desk 400 can be used both as a desk phone and as a wall phone, ensuring optimum usability at all times. When mounted on a wall, the phone is simply attached with two screws.

Flexible use
The Gigaset Desk 400 is easy to use and versatile, making it suitable for home or office use. It is easy to install and can be connected to a fixed line network or be part of an internal home or office telephone network. The dialing method—tone or pulse—is also adjustable, as is the flashing time for the query function (using a slide switch). Pressing the mute button prevents the other party from hearing what you are saying.

Quick call
With four direct dial buttons, important contacts are at your fingertips. Additionally, you can save up to ten phone numbers as speed dial numbers, allowing you to quickly call people you talk to frequently. On the enclosed paper insert, the names of the persons are written next to the corresponding telephone numbers and are therefore always visible. To quickly call back the last caller, just use the redial function.

Hearing aid compatible
For those who use hearing aids, the Gigaset Desk 400 is particularly beneficial. It is certified in accordance with the European standard ITU-T P.370, allowing users of hearing aids with inductive transmission to conduct telephone conversations without unwanted background noise.
