Sega Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon

At its core, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is an underdog story. The protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, a member of a rather insignificant Yakuza family, has to work hard to earn his fortune. He atoned for a crime he didn't commit in order to protect his patriarch and father figure, Masumi Arakawa. After serving 18 years, he discovers that his former clan has been almost completely broken up. The few remaining members are being hunted down in the streets, possibly by his old patriarch. Ichiban senses that he has been betrayed. He wants to find out the truth, and thus begins the story of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Rise from your depths. Ichiban Kasuga, a low-level thug from a rather insignificant Yakuza family in Tokyo, is sentenced to 18 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Firm in his beliefs, he serves his time and returns to society, only to find that no one is waiting for him in freedom and his clan has been crushed by his closest confidant. Lonely and confused, he sets out to discover the truth behind his family's deception, earn his life back, and become an unexpected hero to the town's renegades along the way.
