The Wio Tracker L1 E-ink is an exceptionally energy-efficient and versatile Meshtastic device for long-range radio communication and precise GPS tracking. It serves as a standalone node in a LoRa mesh network, enabling extensive communication even without a mobile network. Thanks to the integrated L76K GPS module, positions can be accurately captured and tracked. The removable 2.13-inch E-ink display provides permanent visual feedback with minimal energy consumption – ideal for displays that need to be constantly visible. The powerful nRF52840 microcontroller (64 MHz Cortex-M4) ensures efficient data processing with low power requirements. The Meshtastic firmware is pre-installed, making the device ready for immediate use and allowing it to seamlessly integrate into existing off-grid networks. For flexible applications, the tracker features three power supply options: a USB-C port for quick charging, a solar energy input, and a connection for a lithium-ion battery. This allows the device to be operated both stationary with an external power source and mobile and autonomously. Through the Grove interface and additional PTH pins, sensors or other modules can be connected, facilitating individual IoT projects.
