Product details
A built-in shoe mount at the base allows you to attach the AX100 to your camera, and a 1/4-20 tripod thread enables easy attachment to camera cages, tripods, and more. On the back of the AX100, there are three 1/8" (1 stereo and 2 mono inputs) for connecting battery-powered microphones and wireless microphone receivers. The two attenuation knobs on the front of the AX100 make it easy to adjust the levels of the connected microphones, and the knobs feature stepped notches for precise adjustment. With a mono/stereo switch, you can control how the microphones are recorded to your camera. The stereo mode separates the audio into individual left and right channels on your camera, perfect for capturing two separate microphone signals for mixing in post-production. In mono mode, they are mixed together, which is useful when you have two microphones connected but want the audio to be mixed on both the left and right channels of your camera. Durable shoe mounts are located on the top and sides of the AX100, functioning like a mount that transforms your camera's single shoe into three parts, providing convenient locations for securely mounting lights, microphones, and wireless receivers. The AX100 is small and lightweight, making it easy to take anywhere, and its all-metal construction means it is built like a tank and ready for travel. Please note: microphones that are not battery-powered are not compatible.
