The new lyre-based suspension for portable recorders offers excellent isolation from vibrations, shocks, and handling noise. With the new 1/4" to 3/8" swivel adapter, the suspension fits any portable recorder with a 1/4" internal thread. The suspension can then be mounted on a 3/8" external thread, a microphone stand, or attached to a camera's hot shoe. The 180° swivel joint allows for easy alignment of the recorder, so it can point directly at the speaker. The suspension uses the patented lyre, which provides unmatched isolation and durability. Unlike rubber or elastic suspensions, the lyre suspension is resistant to temperature extremes and can therefore be used in the harshest environments.
