EMI/RFI - IP66 shielded die-cast aluminum enclosure. RS Pro's IP66 shielded die-cast aluminum enclosures are made from a high-quality aluminum alloy with a natural finish and no external coating. The enclosures can withstand temperatures up to 250 °C without affecting the aluminum or the enclosure construction. Different sizes and wall thicknesses are available.

Protection class IP66:
Protection class IP66 offers protection against dust and moisture. Self-adhesive seal. Neoprene. Cover thickness is 3 mm including gasket. Temperature range for the seal is from -20 °C to +80 °C.

Fixing the cover to the base:
The lid is provided with a lip to ensure a tight fit against the base. Taper of 1.5° per side cover to the floor. Tapped holes for a good fit. Mounting holes outside the interior of the housing. Countersunk stainless steel screws M3.5 x 12 mm Supadrive secure the lid. Recommended tightening torque is 5.6 kgf.

Temperature resistance:
Up to 250 °C with no impairment of material or structure.
