The temperature range specified for the rectangular versions refers to the brass inserts. The steatite itself can withstand 500°C. These are heat-resistant steatite terminal blocks with a steatite housing and nickel-plated brass inserts, secured with plated steel screws. They are suitable for use in high ambient temperatures.
