    Probably the best thing you can screw onto your E-mount at this focal length.

    Compact, fast and always razor sharp. I use it on APS-C and also like to use this lens with spacer rings for macros.

    Sony FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA Zeiss Sonnar T

    I bought this lens for my new Sony A7C , because the kit lens Sony FE 28-60mm F4.0 - 5.6 is a bit poor. The Sony FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA Zeiss Sonnar T fits in my opinion very well to the Sony A7C . I had first looked at the Tamron af 28-75mm f/2.8 di iii rxd, sony e, but then decided against it because it is significantly larger and heavier and the speed is "only" 2.8. The advantages of the Tamron would be of course quite clearly the zoom function, the price difference is however small.
    I recommend this lens clearly to buy, although the price is a bit too high, but you get a high quality, lightweight lens.
