I would buy this unit again,

I bought this system after Christmas and am satisfied so far.

    • Simple installation
    • Good price/performance ratio
    • Very good bass for films.

    Contra

    • Not quite optimal for classical music
    • Software sometimes crashes when using NetFlix
    • In combination with the SwissCombox, the signal is not recognised via the HDMI channel.

    Disappointed

The quality of the sound is good and the design of this product is appealing. My setup is simple: I have it connected to my Android TV via HDMI / ARC. I encounter the following issues quite often (at least one issue per week, and every issue requires restarting the device):
    - Sometimes it freezes completely (i.e. it does not react to the remote control).
    - When watching Netflix, sometimes it does not load the movie (it stops at 25%).
    - Sometimes it forgets my login to Netflix, and I have to re-enter the password (which takes a lot of time).
    - Sometimes the sound is emitted both from TV and audio system.
    - Sometimes it does not emit any sound at all.
The following issue happens almost every single time:
    - When streaming to TV (via Chromecast), the sound (audio system) stops working after a while. To fix it, I need to restart it (or sometimes even unplug it from electricity), but this is always only a short-term solution. Not sure if this is a problem of the TV (or Chromecast), but the TV sound works perfectly fine when the audio system is turned off. I managed to overcome this problem by connecting it via optical audio cable.

UPDATE: After some time it got even worse. Now I can no longer connect to it. I have registered warranty and sent it for repair. The official service center is Sertronics AG. Try to google "Sertronics AG" and you will find out that most reviews are extremely bad for this company. After waiting 2 weeks they did not fix the issue, and sent me back non-functional product. In addition, I can no longer attach the optical cable, as they broke that connector probably during the repair. Now I need to send it back again.

    • When streaming to TV (via Chromecast), the sound stops working after a while
    • The official service center Sertronics AG is of extremely poor quality, it has very bad reviews

Top for film lovers, flop for music lovers

In use since the beginning of August '15 and I am largely satisfied.

The sound for films is tremendous. With a suitable large TV, films (and series) are enormous fun to watch.

The sound for games (PS4 connected) is
okay. Although many video games also rely on cinematic surround sound, it doesn't come across as well as in films. It still has an impressive effect.

You have to make concessions with the music. If you connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth, you can't do anything else with the sound. If you leave Bluetooth mode, the connection is interrupted. You can't play a video game via HDMI, for example, but listen to music via Bluetooth.
The quality is also rather average, especially for demanding styles such as classical music.

The system itself has very slow reaction times. It takes a long time to start up, the reaction in the menu is slow. I am quite disappointed in this direction.

    In summary:
For watching films --> Absolutely recommended.
For gaming --> It's tiptop, but not outstanding.
For listening to music --> I think other music systems are certainly better.

    Pro

    • Sound quality for films
    • Easy installation
    • Design

    Contra

    • Bluetooth connections cumbersome
    • Slow reaction times
    • Below-average sound quality for music (especially classical)
