What a pity... I've been using the headphones for six months now. What you get for the price is worth listening to.
However! Within seven days, the earpieces on both sides (not at the same time) broke when I put them on (and I have a head size of 58, so I'm not huge).
Unfortunately, they are hardly repairable at that point and I have to look for new ones.
Moral of the story: don't buy headphones with hard plastic earpieces.

I was looking for a cheap wireless headphone that I could use with my smartphone, for Spotify, etc. I was very happy with the price.
First impression: Simple, plain design.
Nothing special in terms of aesthetics but looks good.
But when you hold them in your hand, you notice: very cheap workmanship. While the lightness of the headphones can still be seen as a plus point, the earpiece holder, for example, which is made of the same cheap plastic, is inexcusable, even at only 70 francs.
The wearing comfort is okay. Passive noise cancellation is noticeable and the ears are also pleasantly enclosed.
The sound is slightly bassy, but otherwise still quite well mixed. Makes for a fun sound.
The next minus point, however, comes from the fact that the Hesh 3 only uses SBC (i.e. standard Bluetooth audio codec). I think Qualcomm's aptX codec would have enabled even better playback, and would not have made the headphones, which are cheaply made anyway, more expensive.

The price-performance ratio is excellent here! The headphones can be worn for several hours without any problems. The battery lasts and lasts and lasts. I use them in my home office to hold remote video meetings. According to feedback, I can also be heard loud and clear. I would recommend the headphones to others.

In principle, the headphones do not make a bad impression, but creaking noises are noticeable already during the first use, which suggests that the plastic is hard and brittle.
The bad premonition was unfortunately justified. After only a few months, the headband over the right shell broke. The shell is now hanging by a thread until it breaks off completely.
The headband is also "in ruins" on both sides. It is holding, but a good part of the plastic has already broken off and cracks are running across the bracket.
It can't be that people keep pointing out that it's not a Bose either. 100 francs is no Asian bargain. In this category, I can expect that it won't disintegrate into its atoms after a quarter of a year, or that I can only use it with kid gloves. That simply does not correspond to the reality of life and the normal use of headphones.
If the standard XBox headphones from Microsoft, which cost half as much, have managed for half a decade to show not the slightest signs of use despite the most savage use, then the chemical formula for the plastic in the Skullcandy is simply not right. This is clearly a case of saving money at the wrong end of the production process. So the conclusion is: Hands off.

I have various headphones from different brands such as B&W, Audeze, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic etc. but I was really surprised by this Skullcandy Hesh 3 at the Digitec special price. For the price, it's a real bargain and sounds good. Not high-end headphones, but the best entertainment for on the go. They are fun. The bass is not exaggerated and the headphones fit well. For CHF 69, a top recommendation.
