    Very good cooler, but 95W TDP limit

    After a short research, I chose this cooler for a mini tower because there is simply little space. Intended for an R9 3900X or R9 3950X, I can first determine that it is somewhat weak for this. If you limit the TDP of the chip to 95W, it's just about enough - with front and rear fans, all obstacles in the airflow minimised, I get to just under 95°C under full load, the chip regulates at about 90°C. The NH-C14S seems a bit big to me, possibly the better choice. A second fan for push-pull operation is on its way, maybe I'll get a bit further down with it. But it can't dissipate the 140W that an R9 3900X takes under full load (it's also in the data sheet). What is full load: Linux kernel compilation with all threads, takes about 1 hour. Or just Furmark with CPU Burner.
    Processing, packaging and accessories are, as usual with Noctua, 1A. Mounting is a bit tricky, you are tempted to put the fan on later - better not try, otherwise you will screw twice. The clamping brackets are really tight, you can't hook behind them when they are installed.
    As long as you take the TDP into account, it's a good choice, and almost inaudible in day-to-day use, as it should be.

    exactly what I was looking for

    I use the cooler on a 65 Watt processor (i5-8600, without overclocking) in a mini-ITX case. The cooling performance is well sufficient and - very important for me - it works absolutely noiselessly (ear distance approx. 80cm).
