As my old PC has slowly given up the ghost, I have put together a new one. I previously had a motherboard from ASUS (Maximus series) and never had any major problems with it. When I put the PC together, there wasn't much choice in the mid-range price range, so this motherboard ended up in my cart pretty quickly. Brief info: I bought the motherboard twice, once from Digitec and another time from another supplier, as I wanted to build a second PC that would be pretty much identical in terms of configuration (more RAM from the same brand and different/multiple drives). I got revision 1.0 from Digitec and revision 1.2 from the other supplier.
Basically, I can say that neither of these versions is better than the other. Both have common problems but also their own problems. With the 1.2 board, for example, it was never possible to overclock (as of 04/04/2024 still not), but I always got a message, which was not the case with the 1.0 board (boot loop and LEDs flashing, I have already left it running like this for over 48 hours and nothing happened). Afterwards I always had to disconnect the PC from the mains and wait 1 minute until the PC had completely discharged and reset the CMOS, as otherwise the PC remained trapped in the same loop.
When the problems became too much for me, I plucked up the courage to ask Gigabyte support for help, but this went disastrously wrong. I couldn't even attach a video, which the support team asked me to do. I clearly stated my problem and the diagnoses I had made (replace RAMs, replace CPU, etc.) when I first contacted them, but this was ignored. Afterwards, I had to keep mentioning that they should please read and understand my message completely before coming up with a solution that I have already applied (things like please install the latest BIOS update that came out a week ago, even though I had already mentioned in the last message that now the overclocking is not working).I had already mentioned in the last message that overclocking now works reasonably well after the latest BIOS update have convinced me that I won't be buying any more components from Gigabyte/Aorus). The last message from support was that I should report the board to Digitec as defective (only the software is defective, which could be improved via updates) and then either Digitec would test the board or Digitec would send the board to Gigabyte and they would then test it.
Conclusion:
Please keep your hands off this board if you want to overclock and want a stable system. Better spend a little more money and buy a decent board (e.g. from ASUS) instead of this rubbish. But that's just my opinion and my situation, there are certainly users who are satisfied with this board and have not experienced this.

I am so frustrated with the motherboard. I have tried every BIOS over the last 9 months and still cannot run the EXPO profile with my Corsair Vengeance Memory at 6000 CL30. This is the second set or RAM I bought as the Kingston Fury RAM I originally bought was also unstable. In HWinfo64 I can see that the voltages are lower than the EXPO profile recommends. Load Line calibration doesn't help. Even with manual voltages the motherboard is unable to reboot. I have to be careful to always choose shutdown and never restart otherwise I cannot start again without clearing CMOS and reconfiguring all my BIOS settings again.

Comprehensive equipment, state-of-the-art components, start-up process in BIOS a little too long (memory clocking 6400 CL36 XPM level 1), top left screw connection to the case difficult to reach (Fractal Pop Air RGB case)
