I've owned an AKG K502 (semi-open, around 50€ at the time) for business for 5 years.
In addition, an AKG K701 for 2 years, as well as a Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro 250 Ohm. I use these with a FiiO E10.
Since my old business headphones are slowly falling apart, I needed something new. Unfortunately, the two above-mentioned headphones were unsuitable, as they hardly absorb any noise and can also be heard by colleagues when in use. So it had to be a closed earpiece. I now also always travel to the shop by train, so I wanted to use it on the road as well.
Unfortunately, smartphones are not very suitable for good ears. Just like the onboard sound card of my business PC. Since I had already had very good experiences with the FiiO E10, I decided on the FiiO E18, which I can connect to both the PC and my Android smartphone via USB. So I could also go for the 250 Ohm model.
Now let's talk about the DT-770:
Personally, I prefer a clear, neutral sound. My absolute favourite is and remains the AKG K701. So the DT-770 is a compromise for me anyway. But it does its job very well. I listen to 99% melodic (orchestral) trance and some technotrance. All in all, in contrast to the K701, it has accentuated basses, somewhat exaggerated trebles and the sound is somewhat "constricted", which is due to the closed design. I lowered the range around 87Hz slightly (-1.8dB). For me, the slight booming disappears and the bass sounds wonderfully full and crisp. The highs, however, are clearly more exaggerated. On tracks with female vocals, "sibilants" (e.g. sssssound) almost hurt my ears. Therefore, I lowered the frequency around 8kHz (-6dB), as well as the neighbouring frequencies (5.6kHz and 11.2kHz, -3dB each).

These headphones are just awesome. The 32 and 80 Ohm versions just sound flat and dull compared to the 250 Ohm. Rich bass, beautiful mids and clear highs - even at high volumes.
For mobile use on phones and tablets it is not suitable because of the 250 Ohm, it is then much too quiet. Unless you use a portable headphone amplifier - like me a Fiio E07K.
These headphones with the Fiio on a Galaxy Note II with the custom sound driver "ViPER4Android" via USB on the phone and FLAC sound files simply the hammer xD
Super headphones!
I was one of those who bought so-called gamer headsets over and over again.
They are overpriced and offer poor sound quality.
After a long comparison on the internet, I ended up with this headset.
Compared to the Beyerdynamic MMX 300, which comes with a good microphone but costs 130Fr. more, there is hardly any difference between the two. (The MMX 300 is supposed to offer slightly better sound quality).
Since everyone's perception of music is different and there are big differences, I was always advised to go to an audio shop and try out the different headphones, listen to them and test them.
However, I'm almost blind to it, and I'm just amazed at how cool this headset is.
You can hear sounds that I have never heard before in cheap headsets.
I bought a Zalman ZM-MIC1 microphone for 20Fr. and combined it with the headphones and an ASUS Xonar Essence STX II sound card.
It wasn't really necessary, I admit. Onboard sound cards are pretty advanced these days. I compared the quality and it is still a bit better than with my onboard card.
The headphones are great for music, but also great for gamers.
Wearing comfort is also top. Very soft cushions, comfortable and replaceable.
You have to have it. Great piece. Lasts forever. Only for professionals who know what they are doing to their ears.

This headphone is built to last. The (DRS3) studio headphones also have quite inexpensive spare parts that can certainly still be ordered from Beyerdynamic in 20 years' time.
I sold mine again because it had overtoned treble and bass. Especially the treble didn't let me enjoy music in a relaxed way, it got on my nerves very soon. It's just that he's a studio listener, so I shouldn't have expected this. In any case, the DT770 was a very impressive acquaintance.
For the purchase decision, sound rating:
600 > 250 > 80 ohm
