WOW !!!
The card is very good. I previously had a 970 from Gigabyte and have now switched to ASUS. The new control software is stable and the card is very easy to overclock. The workmanship is great. No wobbling or creaking of plastic or aluminium. The "backplate" is very nice and protects the card. It also has a built-in RGB ASUS ROG LOGO, which can also be switched off. I confirm that this card barely gets above 65°. The 1070 beats the 980ti in power consumption, temperature and FPS. If you don't mind the average 10 FPS less in games, you should go for the now cheaper 980ti. For me, the upgrade from the 970 to the 1070 was worth it because I was able to resell the 970 for 200.
My current clock speeds in OC mode are 2075MHz. I must have been lucky in the Silicon Lottery :-) !!

Top card, does what it promises. I can only agree with the other positive comments. The OC option of the ASUS Tweak Tool comes from the stand to 2050 MHz. Perhaps more would be possible with manual overclocking, but I have not tried this.
I only play in Full HD, so I can play all current games at maximum settings.
I think the possibility of controlling the case fans via the card is great.
The only negative point is perhaps the size of the card. I always thought that I had a larger-than-average PC case. However, the card only fit in very narrowly (2 millimetres longer would not have fit!).

One of the best 1070s at the moment. Mine currently runs with a GPU clock of 2075 to 2118 mhz.
The only drawback is the price, availability and the problem with the colour of the LEDs. It is called RGB Aura, but the logo on the backplate has a clear colour deviation from the rest of the card and white is unfortunately not possible. It can be adjusted, but most of the card is more purple than white.

I got 2 of them right away, they are now in the SLI network in my PC and the performance is absolutely top.
The cards are also very quiet. I had a 980ti in the case before, which was clearly audible.
In OC mode my cards start with 2050 MHz clock, in Dragon Age Inquisition the clock drops after about 10 minutes to about 1987 MHz, in other games it stays at 2000 MHz.
The temperatures are around 65 degrees, which is pleasantly cool.
All in all, a good choice, but overclocking the cards even further is difficult because the power limit is very restrictive.
The lighting is individually adjustable via AURA, which also looks very nice. I really like the otherwise simple design, the card looks very high-quality, which is also thanks to the backplate.

I'm rather inexperienced, but the GraKa makes a great impression, everything runs stably, the software is easy to understand and use, looks great, I can't find a game that you can't play on max settings (...):
