  great work dwarf, also suitable as SME server

  Unfortunately, you can no longer change hard drives or upgrade memory on the new minis. However, if you have a well-equipped device from the start, they are simply super fast and expandable thanks to the Thunderbolt connection.

  • USB3.0, super-fast PCIe-SSD
  • Expandable with fast RAID systems thanks to Thunderbolt interface

  Contra

  • Retrofitting the internal SSD hardly possible
  • A maximum of 16Gb RAM is simply pathetic in the age of virtualisation

  a successful mini entertainment powerhouse

  MacMini is a powerful little Rubik's Cube and combined with an IPS panel, it's an adequate mini entertainment package.
