Radxa Single board computer
Product details
Rock 3A is an enhanced version of Rock Pi 4, featuring several performance improvements and additional new interfaces. The Rock 3A is powered by the RK3568 chip, which offers more options for input and output. In addition to an M.2 Key M port for connecting an NVMe SSD with two PCIe 3.0 lanes, there is an M.2 Key E port connected via a single PCIe 2.0 lane. This port can also be accessed via UART and supports WiFi 6 cards for particularly fast wireless connectivity to a network. The integrated RK3568 features four Cortex A55 processing cores, with a clock speed of up to two gigahertz. It also includes a Mali G52 graphics solution. For storing the operating system, applications, and data, an eMMC module or a traditional microSD card can be used alongside the NVMe SSD. For network connectivity, there is a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE support. Video signals can be transmitted via the HDMI 2.0 port, along with a MIPI DSI connector. A 3.5-millimeter audio jack allows for easy connection of headsets or speakers. External peripherals and storage can be connected via two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. A battery-powered real-time clock is included on the 85 x 54 millimeter development board. The 40 GPIO pins on the header are color-coded and mostly compatible with Raspberry Pi and Rock Pi 4. On the software side, Debian 10 is also supported.
