Yes, this also works with the Pad 5 (and 6). I have just tried it out. Place it on top of the edge of the tablet and it pairs automatically (bluetooth active) and holds via magnet. If this doesn't work at first, just wait a little longer. The pen is also charged inductively by the tablet.
yes I ordered it for a Xiami Pad 6 Wlan 128GB in graphite grey and it works very well.
There is a pressure sensitivity which makes it feel more like writing on a paper. In addition, it has been given a slimmer design so that the view is not obstructed. Regarding the slip resistance, I unfortunately have no information. But the slimmer design should make the pen feel better in the hand.
