According to the manufacturer, only a resolution of up to 4096 x 2160 is supported via HDMI and DisplayPort. You can find more information on the following link: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0011/9229/6515/files/DOCK180EUZ-52_D-Online_UG_030420.pdf?v=1583320609

This has only indirectly to do with the dock. Swisscom has a technology in place to prevent illegal recordings. This prevents content from recordings and replays from being played on external monitors; live should be possible. https://community.swisscom.ch/t5/Nutzung-mit-TV-App-Web/blue-TV-via-Browser-keine-Aufnahmen-schaubar/td-p/704459

With the help of Targus support I was able to solve the problem: I had to perform step 4 of the following instructions: https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1932214-displaylink-manager-app-for-macos-introduction-in It is a pity that this is not clearly stated in the user guide for the product.

The docking station is compatible with TB4, but it does not use TB4 technology except for the charging function. Drivers must be installed for the display connections.
