According to the manufacturer, only a resolution of up to 4096 x 2160 is supported via HDMI and DisplayPort. You can find more information on the following link: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0011/9229/6515/files/DOCK180EUZ-52_D-Online_UG_030420.pdf?v=1583320609
Hello, I am using the docking station in conjunction with Aten US224 on a notebook and a PC, so that the keyboard and mouse can be switched between the two Input signal image happens on the monitor
This has only indirectly to do with the dock. Swisscom has a technology in place to prevent illegal recordings. This prevents content from recordings and replays from being played on external monitors; live should be possible.

With the help of Targus support I was able to solve the problem: I had to perform step 4 of the following instructions: https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1932214-displaylink-manager-app-for-macos-introduction-in
It is a pity that this is not clearly stated in the user guide for the product.
The docking station is compatible with TB4, but it does not use TB4 technology except for the charging function.
Drivers must be installed for the display connections.
It is also important to know the model of the notebook.
If the notebook only has USB type-A ports, it does not.
USB Type-C: whether charging of the notebook is possible depends on the notebook model.
It's really good that Digitec has started to add a lot of details about these docking stations in the description.
As it was often not clear how they work exactly.
Well, this one uses Displaylink technology, NOT USB-C DP-Alt mode and NOT Thunderbolt.
So it has a USB graphics card built in, which should be running at 60Hz, due to limitations.
In the Targus download section you can see the drivers. And it is this chip:

Targus dv4k "DRM/HDCP" Problem
Merci...

Unfortunately, your browser cannot play protected TV content or purchased or rented videos (films, series or sporting events). This may be due to the following reasons:
- incompatible browser: please use another browser.
- one or more components of your system do not support DRM/HDCP protection: remove this component from your system.
With my setup, I don't get any display on the external screens with this docking station. Does this work for anyone with a similar setup?
(Setup:
- MacBook Pro 16", 2021, Chip Apple M1 Max
- macOS version 12.4
- Targus Universal DV4K, DOCK180EUZ-52, Dual Video 4K Docking Station with Power Delivery
- Two external monitors HP EliteDisplay E243i, 1920x1200 pixels, 24".
- Connection to external displays via DisplayPort cable
- Installed drivers: DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for macOS 5.2.1.zip (downloaded from https://de.targus.com/pages/driver-support)
