I'm a bit confused, can I use it to synchronise photos on an ongoing basis or can I only use the backup function for photos? I have not yet found a decent solution with my Synology NAS that synchronises my photos on the iPhone 1:1 ... Any ideas?

It's a super ingenious little box! I also had the same problem - and now you can synchronise the photos from iPhone and iPad automatically. However, all devices involved must be connected to the same WLAN. And yes - sometimes I have to "trigger" the synchronisation .... But basically worth the money!

Hi, very interesting product, bu I'm a little confused. Can I use the Synology Drive Mobile App to synchronize files remotely on this little unit if - let's say - this is directly connected to my router? I.e.: can I use it as a Synology NAS (without redundancy and other perks that a proper NAS have)?
