Cancelling the order, Digitec sent me an email that they can only deliver the phone in April. Pathetic communication. Up until 30.10.2020, I was told that the phone will be delivered on 31.10.2020 and now I am told that it will be delivered in April.
Horrible! I have been a digitec customer for 10 years, but I will have to really think before ordering anything from them again.
Please contact our customer service directly, so they can check your order and help you accordingly.

Hoi Anonymous
I have an Xperia 1 II, but the software is basically the same :)
Scrolling screenshot is not available on the devices, hopefully with a future update. In the meantime you can install an appropriate screenshot app, e.g. read this article with explanation for "Longshot":

I did a quick google for you: Sony produces in Canada (Toronto), North America (Terre Haute, Pitman), Mexico, South America (Manaus), Europe (London, Salzburg), Asia (Mumbai, Shanghai, Hong Kong), Japan (Shizuoka, Ibaragi) and Australia (Sydney). Nevertheless, this does not answer your question, because it cannot be answered in the same way as a salad in Migros. Well over 90% of electronic components are produced in Asia or the raw materials are supplied from this region.
I think the times are over . that was eigendlich for the pre-order . but is also otherwise a great phone . especially the battery life is impressive . the best I've had in a long time . the Sony WF-1000XM3 to which the question certainly refers harmonize great with the phone . however, I'm there in contrast to the phone with the battery performance rather not very satisfied . from the sound, however, they are top .
Hello, yes there is a side print sensor on the right side of the smartphone on the power button; frankly Sony sensors are the best, very responsive. It's very easy to use and it's a great way to get the most out of your phone. It's also very well positioned so you can hold the smartphone with your right hand and unlock it without having to use your left hand!
For months, Digitec advertised that they were the only ones who could deliver the Xperia 5 II at the end of October. That's how they enticed customers to place many orders. Now November has begun and it turns out that Sony has not even released the device for the Swiss market. Digitec offers neither an explanation nor an apology. To pass the buck to Sony misses the point, because I am only a customer of Digitec, not of Sony. Digitec's misleading (advertising) behaviour is more than questionable. For me as a lawyer, this is unfair competition. I will inquire with the responsible competition authorities this week and, if necessary, file a complaint. Or what does Digitec think?

I have "old" chargers and matching cables. Can I plug the following combination into the unit without risking damage?
Cable USB-2.0 (type A) to USB-TYP-C, 3 metres long with charger with 5V, 2.0A (another 2.5A) output power (no watt indication). If it charges slowly, I don't care.
The original Sony charger has 5V 3A 15 W / 9V 2A 18W plus 2 other specifications.
It just has a USB-PD connector (whatever that is again, looks and fits like USB-TYP-C) ... always something new, spend money and produce rubbish, it sucks.
Thanks in advance for solving the mystery :-)
For which country specifically? Each country has slightly different frequency bands. According to GSMARENA the Sony Xperia 5 II supports the following 2G bands: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2 (dual-SIM model only)
The following 3G bands: HSDPA 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100
Following 4G bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 46, 48, 66
The following 5G bands: 1, 3, 8, 28, 77, 78 SA/NSA
If you still know *which* Samsung phone doesn't support it, then you can compare.
The models are identical except for the colour. In most cases, the colour black sells a bit better than e.g. blue. Accordingly, a higher number of units can be ordered or the purchased devices are sold more quickly and the cheaper ones move up :)
This Sony Xperia 5 II smartphone is advertised everywhere and Digitec is referred to everywhere. Now, yesterday (18 November 2020), the Sony main agency in Switzerland (!!!) in Schlieren informed me that according to their information... this smartphone is not offered in Switzerland.... But it would be available in Germany. What is going on at Sony ? Are they being put under pressure by the competition ? Or is Switzerland too small ? Or is it like with the Corona masks, that those who pay better or are bigger are preferred ?
