What do you want to photograph? Street, landscape, portrait.... the focal length and speed determine which lens makes sense.

you can simply connect your phone to the camera via an application (available on iOS and Android) and import the pictures you want. The first time you try to connect one another may be tricky but it's pretty straightforward once you did it a few times. Note that the pictures won't be imported in RAW format but will be converted to JPEG format, so quality will be lower from a standard RAW edit on computer.

If you film all the way through, it will still easily last 1.5-2h (never had any problems due to low battery!) If you need more, you can charge it with an external battery via USB-C!

The photos are write-protected because they have been protected against accidental deletion in the camera. To cancel the write protection, go to Playback in the camera menu, select "Protect" and then the option to cancel the protection for individual or all images in the folder. To do this, press the centre of the setting wheel for the protected images until the tick disappears and confirm with OK. If the write protection comes from the SD card itself, check the lock switch on the card. If it is in the locked position, you cannot write any data. Move the switch to the unlocked position to remove the card's write protection. It can also help to check the write authorisations on the computer and adjust them if necessary if the card appears there as write-protected.

Is that a question or a statement? If it's a question, I would say yes and no. The camera is wonderful, but the successor is superior in many respects. Above all, the software is no longer up to date. If you have the money for the price difference, you should invest it or wait a little longer. The 7V should be on the market next year, when the prices for the 7iV will also fall and Ricardo will be flooded with them.

We still had some kits that we bought at more favourable conditions and were therefore able to sell at a lower price. The price should now have normalised.
