you can simply connect your phone to the camera via an application (available on iOS and Android) and import the pictures you want. The first time you try to connect one another may be tricky but it's pretty straightforward once you did it a few times.

The photos are write-protected because they have been protected against accidental deletion in the camera. To cancel the write protection, go to Playback in the camera menu, select "Protect" and then the option to cancel the protection for individual or all images in the folder.
