I bought a USB-B to USB-C cable to go with the NT-USB. That works fine. But an adapter like the one in the question also works. The cable supplied is far too long for me anyway. I prefer my short cable that doesn't need an adapter. Best regards!

I don't think so, because it's a USB microphone, but this is open if you have an audio mixer. I'm not sure though, I don't have any experience in that area, but I know it only has a USB port.
the RØDE NT-USB+ (Art.Nr: 23129617) has a 3.5 mm stereo jack connection, the NT-SUB (Art.Nr: 3450705) has a USB-C connection.

Hi it works with my macbook pro, to my knowledge it has no noise reduction functionality. I keep it directly on my desk.
In video calls if I use audio speakers it is not usable because of the return signal it generates, used with headphones it is perfect.
The Rode NT-USB can be operated with the free software Rode connect.

I assume that you are using a Windows system, try the following:
Right-click on the Windows logo at the bottom left, then select Device Manager and uninstall the driver without having connected the microphone. Restart the PC and reconnect the microphone. If this does not work, test whether the microphone is recognised on another device. If not, you should suspect a defect.
This mic is not intended for using rode caster, its mainly for an affordable experience for anything you want to record with a computer. Or im my case for talking with people online. In my case with recording, I have a very low but noticeable feedback loop.
I have been using the Rode NT-USB almost daily for over a year, also on a Mac (Macbook Pro M1 Max), with the microphone on a docking station.
Do the problems only occur with GarageBand, or also with other use cases, such as telephone calls or video conferences?
If in doubt, you could try the microphone on a Windows computer. If the same or similar problems occur there, I would conclude that there is a hardware defect.

Directly with the camera is probably not possible, at least my camera has no mic input. But plugged directly into the Mac/PC, it works perfectly even with the camera. Just make sure that there are enough USB ports.
Doesn't that draw power via USB? I only know Phantom from XLR microphones.

Unlikely ... the Samsung S10 needs an Android driver.
The mounting ring has a 5/8" internal fine thread (i.e. approx. 16 mm). An adapter piece with an external thread of 5/8" and an internal thread of 3/8" (i.e. a normal tripod thread of approx. 9 mm) is supplied, which is screwed into this fine thread. If the NTUSB is to be mounted using a (small, approx. 6 mm) 1/4" tripod screw, a corresponding adapter must be obtained.
The tripod foot supplied has a fixed 3/8" tripod screw.
Unfortunately not, the latter is not compatible with this microphone.
This is the USB version, which does not require a mixing console as the microphone can be connected directly to a computer via USB.
