Question about RØDE Nt USB
Hello! I have the Rode Nt usb and would like to connect it to the mac, which only has usb -c ports. Therefore I have connected an adapter to usb. Unfortunately GarageBand doesn't record the speech smoothly, there are doubles and pauses. With voice memos even only beeping. I have already replaced the adapter and the microphone. Does anyone know the problem? And has anyone already been able to solve it?
I have been using the Rode NT-USB almost daily for over a year, also on a Mac (Macbook Pro M1 Max), with the microphone on a docking station.
Do the problems only occur with GarageBand, or also with other use cases, such as telephone calls or video conferences?
If in doubt, you could try the microphone on a Windows computer. If the same or similar problems occur there, I would conclude that there is a hardware defect.
