Yes, it fits, but you should be careful with the rubber that comes with it, it could tear, as it is still very "stiff" and not yet very stretchy when it is delivered. But the phone also holds properly without the rubber. Kind regards Finn

Hello Rabbit75 Since I think the product is very good, I'll just take the trouble to answer you. I assume that you wrote socket because the ball is inserted into a kind of bulge, i.e. something similar to a socket, so it is a socket in a way. Since you clamp the phone in, it's not hidden behind some cover and is fully visible. You can use the rubber as extra security, but you don't have to and in the three years my X-Grip has been in use, I have never used it and never had any problems. The product is high quality and I see nothing wrong with the description. I can only recommend it as it is a relatively inexpensive but still functional and high quality mobile phone holder.

The first is for a mobile phone, the second for a small to medium tablet, the third for a mobile phone, but the mounting angle is different With kind regards Finn

The centre (with the RAM logo) is rubberised. A RAM Mount mounting rubber was supplied - you can't really call this part a rubber band, it's more like a kind of rubber plate with cut-outs, which you put over the X mount and the corners of the phone from behind.
