yup... it says in the product description which one fits
Exact type?
Can't say if this fits, had bought this for my ASUS 1070 Ti because it said it would fit, unfortunately it didn't. I'm still looking for a reliable list that shows which cards the adapter really fits. Would definitely like to have it in my next build.
Both should work. But take into account that the graphics memory is no longer really cooled. It has a small fan but only on one side, but often the VRAM is mounted around the GPU. I have the H55 cooler on an RTX2070 and had to stick a small (homemade) aluminium heat sink on the graphics memory. And it's best to use liquid metal thermal paste for the GPU.
NO. The Asus 3070 Dual, like all 3000 series cards considered so far, has VRMs on both sides of the processor, the G12 is designed for graphics cards that have the VRMs only on the outer side (like the 1000 and 2000 series), so it has only 1 fan that is supposed to ventilate exactly these VRMs. In principle, it is almost always possible to mount an AIO CLC on a card and ventilate the VRMs with fans, but this requires manual tinkering, which is exactly what the G12 is supposed to save.
Hello, the fan positioned next to the liquid cooling takes care of this. It is important, to remove all the thermal paste on the graphics card, sometimes covering the components of the card. Without the CG base radiator, the paste will slow down the cooling process. In a well ventilated tower, the temperature will drop from 75-85° without G12 to 60-70° with it. Even without a probe, with your hand over the GC, the temperature is lower than the basic GC system.
Have the Kraken G12 with a Zotax RTX 2070S ZOTAC GeForce RTX 2070 Super Edition (8GB) in use and could be mounted without any problems. The PCB of the MSI card seems to be no reference PCB with 25.7cm length, so the G12 will probably not fit. Alternatively, it should not be a problem with an ASUS GeForce TURBO RTX 2070S 8G EVO (8GB), for example.
Yes it fits and the graphics card will be 65 degrees stad 84 degrees :)
We only sell this model in white.
Hello, you have to look at the compatible list on the official website. It has been updated in the past, adding compatible models. Maybe also a new model will support these versions. (under specifications) https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g12-white
