For your walkie-talkie, you can use NiMH-type rechargeable batteries, which are specified as the standard battery type for this model. However, there is also a 2800 mAh rechargeable lithium battery pack, such as the Midland PB42 Lithium, which offers greater capacity and twice the life cycle of standard 1800 mAh rechargeable AA batteries.
The charger for rechargeable AA batteries is not specifically mentioned as an accessory included in the product package. However, the product includes a main charger and an adapter for in-car use, but does not specify a dedicated charger for rechargeable AA batteries. It may be necessary to purchase a separate charger for AA batteries.
The Midland Alan 42 DS comes with two types of battery housings: one for 6 AA alkaline batteries and one for 8 AA rechargeable batteries with charging function. However, the batteries themselves are not included in the package. Therefore, batteries must be purchased separately to use the device. Accessories such as microphones and headphones can be added, but are not included in the standard package.

Very weak, without any obstacle I tried 1km it is ok but as soon as there is the least thing which cuts, it passes more, perso I employ it with a magnetic antenna of 1m40 in car and there it is top
I mean that the batteries must be included in the scope of delivery, because the specifications state that the 6 batteries have corresponding properties.
(If they were not included, it would have to be more precise what voltage the Li-Ion cells have to have or something).
