This is also the case with my keyboard, this started with an update of the IOS and has not been fixed yet.

Unfortunately not, the 9.7" Pro has a slightly different form factor. The 9.7" Pro will not fit in the case.
Since the iPad Air 2 is 9.7", it shouldn't fit.
I use it with the 10.5 - it says so in the type description: 10.5. I don't think a 10.2 iPad will fit in it either, but I'm not entirely sure.
Yes, it is compatible. And all Mac-specific keys are also integrated. Fits perfectly.

Since the iOS 13 update, I have to disconnect the keyboard briefly and then dock it again.

Yes, you can't fold away the front half of the 10.5'' version - that's only possible with the 12.9'' version.
