Have you tried connecting the soundbar via an HDMI port? I think that would be the better option anyway.

"Backlighting" refers to a layer in the display that is based on the principle and comes from LCD technology. Strictly speaking, your OLED has no backlight; the pixels light up by themselves. Nor does it mean illumination in the sense of Ambilight. The whole thing is quite misleading and should be better specified by Digitec. You need the bumps if a soundbar or similar obstructs the infrared connection from the remote control.
Yes you can also share the screen with non Apple products.
You can connect the TV itself to Wi-Fi normally via the router or hotspot
