I think the lock should work. The screws supplied may be too short, but you can certainly use longer screws. The alarm triggers very quickly. So even if you just move the bike.

This product is currently only compatible with iOS devices, via the Knog app and Apple's "Find My" app. There is currently no Android version available.

The alarm on the phone can be customised, but I don't have much confidence in it - I've only left the Knog alarm on. As for the distance, I'd say 20m without obstacles...

It depends on what you want. If you only want a tracker, you can buy an AirTag and hide it in the bike (under the saddle). If you want an alarm system, I find these really great. (You can also turn off the alarm here). Unfortunately it's only iOS at the moment. I guess because of the AirTag capability. But maybe it will come to Android one day. Personally, I think the alarm is great. And I park my bike with much more peace of mind. It's a great fit for me. I can highly recommend it.
