Intel Core i7-8086K
LGA 1151, 4 GHz, 6 -Core
Yes, it works beautifully.
Can confirm that it is there.
For the next 1-2 years you are served with 6 cores. If you are planning for the next 5-6 years, then 8+ cores. The game engines are developing in the direction of more cores. Skylake-X, Ryzen 7 or wait and see...
The number of units is limited, no one can guarantee that there will still be some in November. But by then there will probably also be the 8-core from Intel. Maybe that's the better alternative for you.
At 1440p and up, games that are GPU heavy are at the same FPS level on a 2700x and 8700k even though one has a higher clock and the other has more cores. For CPU-heavy games like CS GO, even at high resolutions, the clock speed is more critical it seems. At low resolutions 1080p and down, the clock speed is apparently also more important. I don't recommend 8086k for 80 Fr. more, but it's everyone's money. It's just relatively little extra performance for 1/5 of the price.
