I can definitely recommend the tablet highly. The battery life is brilliant compared to my previous Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8" device. The resolution of the M5 lite is of course lower, but I think it's enough for Netflix and you probably won't want to watch 4k movies on the tablet, so a TV makes much more sense. I'd be happy to hear how the device works for you if you decide to buy it.
