In theory, yes, but the initial configuration is done using Wi-Fi. You can then deactivate it and use LAN or USB. Having tested this product with several customers, I wouldn't recommend it. The ADF is not of good quality and neither are the plastics in general. What's more, HP is very insistent on connected services and ink subscriptions.
You have the wrong printer definitons on the printer program.
The paper tray is located where the printed paper comes out. Just lift the upper part. I don't know if it is compatible, but I use a Windows operating system.
