Hello Is it possible to switch off the LEDs on the mainboard? I want to build a black and white PC and orange LEDs are a bit inappropriate.

New mainboard? :P Check the BIOS. You might be able to adjust it there.

Hello Does it also depend on the CPU whether I can use Dual Channel or Quad Channel, or can I use Quad Channel with any CPU with this MoBo?

Hi, since intel released quad cores on the x299 platform this info is only relevant for the x299 compatible quad core chips. that means if you buy a 6 core you will be able to use quad channel anything below that not. So it's CPU dependent. hope this helps.
